'STOA' means covered walkway. In ancient Greece, stoas were public gathering places housing shopkeepers, artists and all great thinkers of the time. 'The Stoa' also refers to the great Athenian hall, where philosopher Zeno gave the founding lectures on the Stoic school of philosophy, after travelling from his hometown in Cyprus. This project aspires to create a space that revives the ancient stoa spirit by inviting, supporting and facilitating the exposure of local fashion designers and art creators living in Cyprus.
